If you're looking for a great shawarma or Kebab you have to check out this joint. Their lovely homemade pita or the hoagie of Turkish bread with lamb shawarma are my usual go-tos. Fast serving, great value for money, a passionate guy behind the counter and delicious food.

Really enjoyed the food here — the lamb meat was tender, the Turkish bread was soft and toasted, and the chili oil hot sauce was incredible. I think it was worth the DKK65.

Consistent. Delicious. Cheap/good value for money. Eat here and you won’t feel robbed as with every other pretentious Copenhagen restaurant. Highly recommended to North Americans who are scandalized by Copenhagen food prices. It also means you’ll need to rent a cheap air bnb Or accommodations on the “Amagerbrogade” side of town...a bit on the dodgy side of town, but on the plus side, it’s multicultural and safe.
This is without a doubt the best lamb kebab in town. The owners really take care with the preparation; the raw materials are excellent; and the service is family style; the atmosphere pleasant. Don't miss!
Really nice durum - nicely balanced flavours. Fries were excellent and the service was great. Will visit again.

When it comes to Shawarma (Döner) the arguments over who serves the best isn't only a shop to shop, City to City but almost a country to country argument. This is because it's a question of almost honor and pride like proportions. Now few does it with the same sense of quality as Kebabistan. With a few locations around the greater Copenhagen Kebabistan is a reliable and trusted source of wrapped carnivore pleasure. Lamb served up in homemade bread with your choice of sauce and greens they are, in my opinion, leagues above the field. But again this is Shawarma so it'll always be a question of preference.Always fresh, quality ingredients and home-made durum. One of my favourite takeaways
